Records of the Whitby Naturalists' Club

The Club has a long history of recording wildlife, archaeology, geology, local history and weather, particularly within its recording area. If you are interested in contributing records please first read the Club's Guide to Submitting Records. To submit digitized records (records already keyboarded into a structured computerized format), please use the downloadable template after viewing the worked examples of keyboarded records. Digitized records should then be sent by e-mail to . If there is a significant observation which needs urgent attention (for example an exceptionally rare bird), or you have any queries about particular aspects of recording, please contact the appropriate Recorder directly [contact list]. Selected records are published in the Club's Annual Reports, and may also appear in various lists and other documents published from time to time by the Club. The following lists provide basic digitized information about which organisms have been observed within the Club's recording area.
